Have you heard of the latest foiling technique, Babylights, but don’t know what it is?
Our team have been creating super soft highlights for a few years now, we use the technique to subtly change our clients hair rather then producing strong streaks ( unless that’s what you want )
Babylights are applied in the same style as foils highlights, but the weave is super fine both in depth if section and in the weave. The result is really naturally, as if the sun has lightened the hair itself. It is perfect for blending in greys and brightening natural looking blondes.
Although the technique is time consuming it is totally worth the extra time and money to give you the youthful appearance of naturally lightened hair. It also has a really subtle grow out line so you can get away without re-doing your roots so often, especially if you don’t mind the smudged root look – therefore going from Babylights to a Balayage look over the months, bonus!
In a average thickness of hair your stylist could use 75-100 foil packets to create this look, using one colour or multiple to give you the effect you are looking for, coupled with Olaplexand a toner (if necessary) and your hair will look young, fresh and natural.
